Repost: Drusilla/Willow banner (worksafe)
Dec. 23rd, 2018 01:40 pmHuh, maybe I should post something. Have a fanart crosspost.
This was my Buffyverse Femslash Secret Santa offering for @heterocosmica, who requested, among other super cool and inspiring ships, Drusilla/Willow. Originally posted on tumblr here.

Resources used:
Dru and Orb of Thesulah screencaps from http://captoit.flaunt.nu/buffyverse/
Willow screencaps by me using the HD episodes at hdbuffy.tumblr.com
Stars courtesy of NASA
And texture “Hindsight” by @javajunkie247
The exciting part is I recently found out how to make a DW image automatically resize to fill the post/comment where someone looks at it (by setting width as % instead of pixels), but at the same time make it so the image can't blow up larger than it's supposed to be (by setting max pixels). It's very cool. For example, the code for this image is
<img src="https://thenewbuzwuzz.dreamwidth.org/file/42830.jpg" style="width:100%;max-width:700px" alt="Willow and Drusilla banner" />
If I resize the browser window, I can see that the image is resizing, but only up to a point. Whee!
I also learned how to use layer masks in Pixlr! - thanks for the tip, Double Dutchess - even if you wouldn't know it from looking at Willow's hair. *cringes*. I think that's all the Willow hair there was in the picture and I didn't go for making more.
