(1) Not Even the Buffyverse
Il Bolero by shamelessmash (BBC Sherlock fandom, Johnlock, NC-17, 21,473w, complete)
Delicious little AU. I took a tiny little look at Tei's tumblr blog, saw the rec, & the BDSM-related premise hooked me even though I'm no longer in the fandom. Hadn't realized how much I missed those characters!
(2) Buffyverse. Not Spuffy
Shelf Life by beer_good (Tara/Willow, Xander/Anya, Faith/Rodion Raskolnikov, T, 5758w, complete)
Scoobies in books, wheee!! Great, great intertextual fun. Pretty much all the parts were my favorite parts.
Bit Parts by mintwitch (Spike/Spike's date from "Hell's Bells", M, 15,297w, complete)
It was even better than I'd heard! Rahirah says in one of the AO3 comments that it's "like the master course in how to write original characters", and I think I see why! The POV character starts out relatable and has many surprising layers, Spike's reasons for looking at her twice are solid, and there's never a dull moment! Woot!

Loyalty by Zabjade (Spuffy and Spike/ captain of The Flying Dutchman, NC-17 in the demony slashy parts, 19,489w, complete)
I LOVED THIS! I adore what Zabjade has done with the Flying Dutchman legend, I really like the character, and I liked Spike's reasons for having fabulous tentacle nookie etcetera while he unequivocally would die for Buffy. Oh, and the more directly Spuffy parts were good, too. ^^
(4) Spuffy
A Small Boat on the Ocean by sandy_s (PG-13, 156,374w, complete)
Wonderful example of how good it is that fiction can let us share experience. A wealth of detail on infertility and IVF. I'm also enjoying the New Orleans setting and the many cameos of Elysian Fields members. ...And established Spuffy who've gotten pretty great at being together.
